Worship

Sunday Services begin at 10:00 am, with our children attending the first part of the service, until the children’s message, when they adjourn to attend Sunday School.  Nursery care is available for infants and toddlers.  Attire for all services is “come as you feel comfortable.”  We want you to join us no matter how you choose to dress!  We also have a well-attended coffee hour that takes place each Sunday following service downstairs in Remembrance Hall. Come join us for the fellowship and food.

Our Sunday services are Bible-based, traditional, and spirited.  Our music is supplemented by both a choir and a pianist.  The worship team and choir are committed to drawing from a rich diversity of musical styles and traditions in order to enhance worship and celebrate our ultimate unity in God.

Holy Communion is included as a part of our regular service on the first Sunday of every month.   All are welcome to partake in communion.  Those of you who are able to rise rise at the direction of the ushers will file to the front of the church, receive communion and return to your seats.  Anyone who is unable or prefers not to come to the front of the church will gladly be served where they sit.

Our church has a “split level” design with the sanctuary up a flight of stairs from the front door, and classrooms and Remembrance Hall downstairs.  For that reason, we are handicap accessible which includes an elevator linking the front entrance to both the sanctuary as well as the lower level  for those who need the extra assistance.

Special services, in addition to normal Sunday services, are also held on (specific dates will vary):

Ash Wednesday
Taize Service
Maundy Thursday
Song of the Shadows
Easter Sunrise Service
Longest Night Service (winter solstice)
Christmas Eve (candlelight service)
